Mike Makar is the Vice President, Corporate Controller at Paradigm Oral Health. Mike is responsible for producing the company financial statements for the Paradigm senior management team and surgeon network, along with external parties such as company lenders. Mike also coordinates the annual external audit process and oversees Paradigms’ banking and tax activities. 

Mike has more than 20 years of financial experience in both public and leveraged private equity company environments. His background is rather diverse with experience in healthcare, insurance brokerage, distribution, and manufacturing industries.  He is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois with a BS in Accounting and is also a CPA.  

Mike is originally from Chicago (go Bears!) and prior to relocating to Omaha about a year ago, spent the last 20 years living in the Kansas City area.  In his spare time, he enjoys volunteer work and  has served as a board member for several small non-profit organizations in the Kansas City area as well as led a disaster relief team to Puerto Rico shortly after Hurricane Maria.
